We all have been there in some point of our career; we think were providing the right network marketing leadership but our downline just isnt cutting it. We expect to get people in our group and give them a little advice and send them off from there. That is when the inevitable truth becomes clear, youre being a strong network marketing leader and your downline isnt doing anything. However, before you start pointing fingers and giving up on your group you had better take a look at your so called network marketing leadership. Before you start putting down your network marketing downline ask yourself a few questions first. Ask yourself what you may not be doing and how you can better yourself and your group. If you expect to build a downline and then have them do everything from there on you are WRONG. Creating a network marketing downline is just the beginning to a long path towards success. You have to ask yourself if you are following up, contacting your recruits, continuously prospecting, and training your people. The best network marketing leaders lead by example, are you? One of the best ways to get your network marketing downline active is to give them something to shoot for. If you can give them incentives to work for something, chances are they will work as hard as possible to receive the rewards. You dont even have to necessarily give them a certain prize, but maybe set up a special event with guest speakers. Another idea is planning a major conference call with a successful upline or someone from corporate. By doing this you are being a strong network marketing leader by giving your downline something to aim for and rewarding them with their efforts. This will allow them to succeed in something and receive some of the best training available at the same time. The last thing you need to look at is if you are training your network marketing downline to be independent, or if you are allowing them to stay close to you. At some point in time if you want your recruits to be successful and help your business you have to give them space. You cannot provide network marketing leadership by doing everything for your recruits when you show them how to do it. Show them the basics and let them take it from there. This will allow them to grow and do things on their own without your constant assistance. It can be difficult to recruit a large network marketing downline and then watch them do NOTHING. However, it may be you that is watching them do nothing as oppose to helping them do something. The promising part of this dilemma is that you can easily correct it by providing quality network marketing leadership. |
